3 Questions To Ask To Increase Your Productivity

Are you ready to improve your level of productivity to get better returns on your input in your relationships, marriage or work?

There are some things that can get you off your feet in a breeze without you even thinking twice about it. Why? Because those things are the things you really love to do.

But at other times, you find yourself lax with the things you need to do not because you don’t have a to do list, but because you procrastinate and delay things that can and should be done right away. Procrastinating doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t like to do those things, you just feel like putting them off to be done at a later time when you feel like it.

What are the things you are holding off that could have been checked off that list? What’s holding you back from your productivity efficiency in all that you do?

So, what are these questions?

Questions To Ask To Increase Your Level of Productivity

1. Am I at the right place?

Are you at the right place? Are you where you are supposed to be?

There are times we cast our minds back and regret ever going to a particular place. We begin to say things like “if only I didn’t go there this would never had happened! I could have made a better use of my time by not going there and doing this instead”. Having a self discipline of being in the right place at different times could save you a lot of time and hassles, especially if going to the wrong place will only end up draining you out at the end of the day.

2. Am I doing the right thing?

Now, what is the right thing?

You know your schedule, you know what is of utmost importance on your list and in your life. You know your top priorities. Are they in order? Are you doing those things that are crucial?

When you do the right thing, you not only have a sense of fulfilment when you finish up a task, but you also feel accomplished in what you have been able to achieve.

3. Am I doing the right thing at the right time?

Time management is key.

You could be doing the right thing but at the wrong time. Doing the right thing at the wrong time doesn’t automatically make it right. Also, simply because you believe you are doing the right thing after all, (regardless of the timing), doesn’t make it right either.

Doing the right thing at the wrong time is basically tantamount to doing the wrong thing.

If you are meant to go to the gym, that’s a good thing but you don’t want to go to the gym when you know it’s the time for you to pick up your child at school neither do you want to meet up with a friend when you know your spouse is waiting on you at home for something very important to him or her.

Though meeting up with a friend is not a bad thing in itself, it inherently becomes bad when it’s done at the wrong time.
